The Working Group on Training and Career Development (WG) works on the exchange of information related to the various training aspects relevant to all EIROforum organisations.

This includes topics such as technical training, training in interpersonal skills, or management and leadership training. It furthermore investigates various training methods, such as classroom style, self-paced, virtual, hybrid, and e-learning platforms and works on best practices for those.

The WG also reviews best practices on knowledge management, such as capturing and transfering critical skills, know-how, and experience. Additional goals include the aim for synergies, the exchange of training material, and to enhance the mobility within and among the participating organisations. The WG exchanges information and works on best practices among its members on career-related topics, such as role definition, progression methods, or mentorship programmes.
