Science in School - A journal to promote inspiring science teaching

Science in School aims to promote inspiring science teaching by encouraging communication among science teachers, scientists and all Science in School coverothers involved in European science education.

The journal addresses science teaching both across Europe and across disciplines: highlighting the best in teaching and cutting-edge research. It covers not only biology, physics and chemistry, but also maths, earth sciences and other fields, laying particular emphasis on interdisciplinary topics.

The contents include

  • Cutting-edge science
  • Teaching materials
  • Science education projects
  • Education research and policy
  • Interviews with teachers and scientists
  • Reviews of books, films, websites and other resources
  • News and events for teachers and schools
  • An online forum for communicating across national and subject boundaries

Science in School is published quarterly by EIROforum with the support of the European Union. It is freely available online in many European languages and print versions in English are distributed across Europe.
